Daphne the Frenchie Painter

I study the shapes from my point of view.

I look at myself as we all must do.

The color of my coat, the length of my tail.

The point of my ears, and the clip of my nail.

A mark of these things, a painting will make.

The inner ticklings, the ART will shape.

Thoughts untied from the chores of this day.

Art beckons me here to soak in this play.

Colors connect and make something new

Ever exploring the value and hue.

Where do you go to soak in some play?

It’s very important to do this each day!

Maybe your kitchen over a pot of soup.

Maybe the flowers on your front porch stoop.

The place is no matter, whether inside or out.

But play you must, rather than pout.

What dreams are you noodling in that lovely heart?

Help them to bloom by making some art.
