While living in San Francisco, I was commissioned to create a series of paintings for Joie De Vivre Hotels that depicted areas of the city that were well-loved by the locals. They included The Grant and Green bar, The Buffalo in Golden Gate Park, Baker Beach, etc. The paintings were used to decorate themed rooms at the old Commodore Hotel in San Francisco. The hotel was demolished and I have no idea what happened to them, which is kind of a bummer. This one was from the Grant and Green Bar, with the hottest bouncer/bartender ever.
