Pete Seeger River Sloop

This painting is referenced from a photo taken by Tim Roske on Pete Seegers 78th birthday. Pete Seeger was being inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame American Music Master Series, and I was sent this image to work from by his manager, Harold Leventhal. Harold also arranged to have Pete autograph the painting for me. Pete Seeger autographed the piece and drew a little banjo next to his signature. This piece has been hanging in our home for many years, and he still makes me smile.
