The Dave Matthews Band

I met the Dave Matthews Band when they were staying at The Phoenix Hotel in San Francisco, where I tended bar. They were playing at the Warfield Theater nearby. They were all great guys. Dave Matthews gave the staff tickets and we walked the band to Warfield. I think they are one of the greatest bands of my generation... completely unique. These sweet faces have been watching over my studio for over a decade. When fellow fans see it I enjoy recounting the story.
